Raith Rovers will be without winger Joe Hamill this weekend as the Fifers seek to arrest a decline which has seen the club drop to ninth spot in the first division.
Hamill has been plagued by knee trouble for almost a fortnight and is not expected to recover in time to face Hamilton at Stark’s Park on Saturday afternoon.
The 27-year-old joins Iain Davidson, Scott McBride and Ross Laidlaw on the sidelines.
Raith go into the match with Billy Reid’s side looking to find the net for the first time in four matches, while attempting to secure just a second victory in 13 outings.
Raith boss John McGlynn confirmed: ”Hamill picked up an injury before our last match against Ayr United. He is getting better but the weekend looks as through it might come too soon for him.”
He added: ”Davidson and McBride have been out for a considerable period of time now. Davidson is improving, but it’s slow. McBride is also improving but that’s very slow.”
The lack of depth in the Rovers’ camp has been somewhat allayed by the arrival of promising Hearts trio Jamie Walker, David Smith and Jason Holt on a month’s loan this week.
McGlynn continued: ”They have been a breath of fresh air in training.”
