Harry MacLean has resigned as chief executive of Dundee.
A key figure in helping steer the Dark Blues through administration, he had already quit as a director earlier this season.
MacLean, who will work a month’s notice, said: ”I want to move on to new things. I have a few possibilities that interest me and I have always known that my long-term future would not be at Dens.
”Dundee FC is far more important than any individual or group and I will offer any help I can give the club in future.”
Dark Blues chairman Stuart Murphy expressed gratitude to MacLean for his contribution.
He said: ”On behalf of Dundee FC I’d like to thank Harry for all his hard work during his time at Dens, in particular during the period when the club was in administration, when he played a large part in saving the club.”
