Forfar 1 Livingston 1: Loons do well to draw with Livi

Forfar fought out a creditable 1-1 draw with Championship side Livingston.

The hosts took the lead shortly before half-time through Dale Hilson. They were the better side at that stage, preventing Livi from creating any real chances.

But John McGlynn’s men improved after the break and equalised 10 minutes after the restart. Danny Denholm hit the woodwork late on, but it finished level.

Forfar have arranged another pre-season fixture against Highland League Cove Rangers at Station Park on Monday July 14, with a 7.45pm kick-off.
