Arbroath have completed the signing of former Celtic defender Jordan Lowdon after the 22-year-old impressed manager Allan Moore in training and bounce games.
Lowdon had a loan spell with Brechin City in 2012-13 before being released by Celtic and heading for Oakleigh Cannons in Australia and New Zealand Premier League champions Waitakere United.
The player will be included in Moore’s plans once international clearance is received.
The Gayfield boss saying: “I have been after Jordon for a while and wanted to play him as a trialist, however rules prevented that.
“I have now seen enough of him in training and was delighted when he accepted the offer of a contract.
“He will put pressure on the players in our defence for a starting place and that is a good position to be in.”
