A Montrose side looking to end a seven-game winless run at Annan this afternoon could have a former Polish under-21 international in their line-up.
Links Park boss George Shields has clinched a deal to sign Leszek Nowosielski on a short-term contract through to January.
Last night he was waiting on clearance from Poland’s FA and if it comes through in time, the player will got straight into his squad for today’s match.
Shields also welcomes back goalkeeper Stuart Mckenzie after suspension.
Alan Campbell, Scott Johnston and Graham Webster are all out, though.
Despite Montrose’s league struggles, they are just two points off the play-off places and there is no need for panic.
Shields said: “We were really disappointed with last week’s result (a home defeat to Clyde) but we beat Annan earlier in the season and we’ll travel down there with confidence.
“A place in the play-offs has always been our aim and we’re still well placed to achieve that.”
