Montrose came from behind to beat Berwick Rangers and climb up to sixth in League Two.
It was the Links Park men’s first win since September 23 and their first at home since they beat Annan on August 23.
Montrose started well and on three minutes a Paul Watson free-kick hit the defensive wall.
Five minutes later a Bryan Deasley cross was turned over his own bar by Kerr Young. From the corner, Leighton McIntosh had a header saved by Michael Andrews.
Berwick settled and Jon Crawford had to clear over his own bar for a corner. A minute later, the ball broke back to Paul Willis and his drive flew over.
Montrose went back on the attack and a 30-yard half-volley from Terry Masson was tipped round the post by Andrews.
From the corner, Watson sent a first-time effort over the bar.
Berwick took the lead on 30 minutes. Andrew Russell burst through a weak tackle from Crawford and slotted the ball home.
A minute later it could have been 2-0 when Willis just failed to turn home a Russell cross.
On 39 minutes, Russell shot over on the run. A minute later, Crawford headed wide from a Ross McCord corner.
Montrose equalised on the stroke of half-time. A 45-yard drive from Watson was tipped over by Andrews.
Following the corner, McCord crossed and Deasley controlled and scored from close range.
Five minutes into the second half, Stuart McKenzie saved at the feet of Russell.
Montrose attacked and when McIntosh was released through the middle, Andrews saved his chip.
Montrose went 2-1 up on 76 minutes. Deasley went on a brilliant run down the left and, from his cross, Watson scored with a controlled volley.
