Former Dundee United star Danny Swanson is set to put pen to paper on a two-year deal with Peterborough.
In-demand Swanson had also been coveted by Brighton and MK Dons but the 25-year-old has opted to pledge his future to the Championship side managed by Scot Darren Ferguson.
He will sign a contract within the next 24 hours.
Swanson’s agent John Viola said: ”Danny will travel to Peterborough this midweek to have his medical. If there are no problems, he will sign a two-year contract.
”He could have signed for several other clubs but he liked what Peterborough had to say. They have told him they will play him in an attacking midfield role, which is what he wants.”
