Dodds and boss Gordon Chisholm will run the rule over six potential new faces in a closed-doors encounter with Hibs this afternoon. The Dens Park number two is expecting to see the on-trial half-dozen make their case. “Up until now the trialists have not said a word in training — they’re that focused,” he said. “That tells you how seriously they are treating things. The only thing they’re interested in is getting contracts. “I’ve never been on trial myself but I can understand the pressure involved because you’re there to impress. “Hopefully that brings out the best in them.”
