Cowdenbeath boss Colin Nish has admitted today’s clash with Brechin City is their biggest game of the season.
Two in-form teams meet in the bottom of the table encounter, with Nish’s side having defeated promotion-seeking Peterhead and Ayr United and the Glebe Park men winning five out of their last six.
Nish said: “We have put in two great performances and been rewarded with two great wins. I said a few weeks ago that our displays were improving and that wins would come.
“That has now happened however we need to keep things going.
“This is a huge game for both clubs but probably that bit bigger for Brechin. They are a good side and like us will be regretting where we are in the table now and looking to make amends.
“It is our biggest game of the season but we have the prize of going five points clear which is a better cushion than the one Brechin would have if they won.”
