Raith Rovers snap up Hamilton play-off hero Kevin Cuthbert
ByNeil Robertson
Raith Rovers boss Grant Murray has made another addition to his squad with the capture of former Hamilton goalkeeper Kevin Cuthbert.
The 31-year-old was instrumental at the end of last season in winning promotion for Accies and consigning Hibs to the drop, saving two penalties in the dramatic play-off shoot-out at Easter Road.
However, Hamilton boss Alex Neil signed Northern Ireland international goalie Michael McGovern from Falkirk last week, a development which saw Cuthbert, who has also played for St Johnstone, Morton and Ayr, depart New Douglas Park.
He has now been snapped up by Murray, who has also agreed terms with another unnamed player, set to put pen to paper when he returns from holiday.
