Stranraer v Brechin: Ray McKinnon doesn’t want to rely on outside help
ByThe Courier Reporter
Brechin manager Ray McKinnon is not interested in other teams winning games to help his side move away from relegation issues, as he wants his men to secure safety under their own steam.
The Glebe Park men travel to Stranraer on Saturday and McKinnon said: “I am not looking for results elsewhere to benefit us as it is all about what we do.
“We are still short of players due to injuries but everyone is giving their all. We have Alan Trouten back from suspension and we are looking stronger going forward as Bobby Barr is looking good and so is Andy Jackson.”
McKinnon added: “We are capable of getting points from any side in this league and now we just need to show that starting at Stranraer.”
