Cowdenbeath boss Jimmy Nicholl bolstered his squad with the addition of former Ross County, Dundee and St Johnstone striker Sean Higgins as well as full-back Iain Campbell, who left Forfar at the end of last season.
Higgins, who also played with Falkirk, had spent last season at Stenhousemuir, scoring nine goals including a double against Rangers.
Campbell, the son of Loons boss Dick Campbell, began his career at Dunfermline and has been at Station Park for the past five years.
Nicholl now has 13 players in place for the new Championship season with further new signings and re-signings expected before the Fifers report back for pre-season training later this month.
