Sheerin has accepted the role of under-20 coach at Pittodrie. The Gayfield club stood by Sheerin despite the Angus men being relegated to League Two at the end of last season. He still had a year to run on his contract but the job with the Dons is full-time as opposed to his part-time position at Arbroath. Also, the lure of teaming up with the management team of Derek McInnes and Tony Docherty has proved too strong to resist.
