Murray promises to lift Raith Rovers after early cup exit

Raith Rovers player-boss Grant Murray is adamant there will be no Fife derby hangover when they begin their Championship campaign against Dumbarton on Saturday.
Rovers slumped to a miserable 1-0 defeat to Dunfermline on Tuesday as they fell at the first hurdle of their Petrofac Training Cup defence.
The visitors were jeered from the field by a large following from Kirkcaldy at East End Park.
However, Murray says his side buoyed by the return of the likes of Grant Anderson and Calum Elliot will be ready to respond when the league begins this weekend.
Murray said: “We have to get the heads up and we will get the boys lifted for the first league game.
“It is really disappointing to go out of this competition, especially after our exploits last season.
“But it’s gone now, we need to move on. It is about focusing and preparing for the weekend.
“We were missing five big players against Dunfermline, which was key, and attention now turns to Saturday.”
