Forfar manager Dick Campbell reckons his Loons will have a successful season as he has been able to persuade five full-time players to play part-time for the Angus club.
The Station Park boss has captured the experienced Derek Young from Queen of the South and former Dunfermline midfielder Stephen Husband with promising youngster Danny Denholm returning from Livingston.
Dale Hilson surprised a lot of people when he opted for Station Park following his release from Dundee United with Andrew Steeves moving across from St Johnstone.
Campbell is convinced that their recruitment sends out a positive message ahead of their League One campaign beginning at Stranraer.
Campbell said: “These players could have secured full time football but have opted to be part of something at Forfar.
“That says a lot about this club and I am sure that throughout the season they will show that they have made the right choice.”
