Raith Rovers have bolstered their squad by capturing highly-rated teenager Christian Nanetti from English Championship side Queens Park Rangers.
The diminutive 18-year-old Italian attacking midfielder, who was born in Bologna, appeared briefly in Rovers’ 3-2 reserve win over East Stirling but has done enough to catch the eye of Rovers boss John McGlynn.
Nanetti, who impressed QPR at youth level, has signed at Stark’s Park on a short-term deal.
Meanwhile, Rovers fans have been asked to note the October 16 derby with Cowdenbeath at Central Park will be all ticket. Details will be announced soon.
