Robert Snodgrass says playing any part of this season will be a bonus

Robert Snodgrass admits he is struggling to come to terms with the “sickening” injury which looks to have ended his season.
The 27-year-old Scotland star suffered a dislocated kneecap against Queens Park Rangers in his first English Premier League match since making a £7 million switch from Norwich to Hull.
He was initially ruled out for around six months, but the true extent of the damage has since become apparent and the player concedes he is unlikely to kick a ball again this season.
And the playmaker says accepting the cruel blow will be his first challenge.
He said: “Injuries happen to everybody. It’s part and parcel of the game but the timing of it is quite sickening. I’ve got to try to get my head around it.
“The diagnosis has been that this season is gone for me. If I play any part, it will be a bonus.”
