Arbroath have released attacker Lee Sibanda a month after placing the 29-year-old on the transfer list after he dropped out of boss Paul Sheerin’s reckoning.
The former Dunfermline and Cowdenbeath player has been with the Gayfield side for three years and he helped the Red Lichties to the Third Division title in his first few months with the club.
Sibanda has only started two games this season, with Sheerin saying: “I could not guarantee Lee a lot of game time and he wants to be playing.
“There was no movement in the transfer window so we agreed to make him a free agent to allow him to find a new club. We wish him well.”
