Arbroath defender Ricky Little may have only started eight games for the Red Lichties this season, but manager Paul Sheerin has seen enough to want him to stay for longer.
The former Partick Thistle and Queen’s Park player has forced himself back into the first team after breaking a bone in his foot, and is playing his part as the Gayfield men look to beat the drop.
Sheerin said: “Ricky has slotted into the team well and in the manner I thought he would when he first came here.
“I have sounded him out about staying for next season already as I am sure he will only get better and better. We will keep discussing things and hopefully get some positive news at the end of the discussions.”
