Dundee striker Craig Wighton and Dundee United defender Cameron Ballantyne have been named in the Scotland squad for the upcoming UEFA European Under-17 Championship elite round against Bosnia-Herzegovina, Belgium and Romania.
The round-robin tournament, taking place in Greenock, Kilmarnock and Ayr, provides Scotland with an opportunity to qualify for this summer’s UEFA Under-17 Championships in Malta.
The squad would make a major tournament for the first time in six years should they top their group.
Scotland will face Bosnia-Herzegovina on Monday March 24 at 6pm at Rugby Park, before facing their Belgian counterparts at Cappielow on the Wednesday, with their last match against Romania at Rugby Park the following Saturday.
