Scotland made a solid start to their UEFA European Under-17 Championship Elite Round group matches with a victory over Bosnia-Herzegovina at Rugby Park.
The win, coupled with Romania’s 0-0 draw with Belgium at Cappielow, means the hosts top Group 6 after the first round of games.
Birmingham’s Tom Lang gave the Scots the lead before the break and Dundee’s Craig Wighton sealed the points with a second half penalty.
Wighton, who made his top team debut for the Dens Park side earlier this season, also saw a shot come back off the post after just three minutes.
Dundee United defender Cameron Ballantyne came off the bench for the last 16 minutes of the game.
Next up for Scotland is a match against Belgium at Cappielow on Wednesday as they seek to book the one qualifying place for the finals in Malta in May.

Chris Liversedge netted a hat-trick for the Scots with Craig Quinn and Jai Quitongo, son of former St Mirren and Hamilton striker Jose, also on the scoresheet.
Perth High School’s James Yates and Scott Hynd of Dunfermline High School also played in the victory.
