Cowdenbeath boss Jimmy Nicholl has added another young player to his squad.
He clinched the signing of Portuguese striker Domingos Agostinho Silveiro who had impressed after a short trial with the Championship side.
The 22-year-old had been released by Conference North side Vauxhall Motors FC but, as he has been signed as an amateur outwith the transfer window, he will only be able to play for the Fifers in reserve matches until the end of this season.
Cowden are waiting on the fitness news of defender Kenny Adamson, amid fears that his season could be over due to a broken foot.
The 25-year-old has been sent for an x-ray after his foot problem failed to respond to treatment.
