Cowdenbeath boss Jimmy Nicholl is delighted his men have done so well in pre-season.
However, he knows the encounter with St Mirren will be their toughest test so far.
The Central Park men beat Blyth Spartans 4-1 then saw off Belfast side Linfield 1-0 as they gear up for their Championship season as well as cup ties against Brechin City and Clyde.
Nicholl said: “It was great to win in England and Northern Ireland, but we will not be getting over excited by it.
“In the game at Blyth they changed their team at half-time and from what I saw I would suggest that the team in the first half, which was a goal ahead, were the stronger of their two sides.”
“Linfield had a great European result on Thursday so were not at full strength against us on the Saturday.”
He continued: “St Mirren had a good win against Morton on Saturday and will be looking to build on that, so this should be a demanding examination of where we are at the moment.”
Summer signing, striker Sean Higgins, got an hour against Linfield as he battles back after a calf injury, with Nicholl still looking to finalise his strike force for next season.
The Fifers’ boss said: “We have lost Kane Hemmings and Greg Stewart and it is a big job to replace them. We have had trialists in from England, who did well, as well as a Slovenian boy who we had a look at last week.”
“I have still to make up my mind what will be the best combination for us.”
