Forfar boss Dick Campbell will keep faith with the same starting XI that beat Morton two weeks ago for the game against Peterhead.
The Loons, who have already beatenDunfermline this season, took their second full-time scalp when they beat Jim Duffy’s Greenock outfit.
Campbell admits he would have liked the chance to capitalise on the Morton momentum but Forfar were denied that opportunity because of the international break.
The flip side of the enforced rest means several players have recovered from minor knocks and the squad are ready to continue what has been a fine start to the season againstJim McInally’s Blue Toon.
Campbell said: “The international break probably came at the wrong time for us in terms of momentum as we would have liked to have had a chance to build on our fantastic result over Morton.
“However, one or two of the lads had wee niggles and the time off has allowed them to recover.
“We had a great training session on Thursday night and the boys are raring to go again. I will send out the same team that did so well against Morton.
“They train at Station Park so they will be well used to our artificial surface.
“Despite that, I am confident if we play as we did two weeks ago, we can pick up another win.”
Forfar will be without injured Chris Templeman, Martyn Fotheringham, Aaron James and Andrew Steeves.
McInally reckons that Forfar have evolved into one of the best teams in League One and that his men will need to be at their best to win at Station Park.
The former Dundee United midfielder said: “Dick Campbell has been at the club for a good number of years and, rather than going for large-scale change every season, he has allowed his side to evolve.
“They were a good side a couple of years ago on grass and then he has been able to build a side that are very capable of playing on the artificial surface when that was put down.
“He now has clever players that can hurt you on that surface and you can see from their results already this season against Dunfermline and Morton how strong they are at home.
“We defended really strongly against Livingston last Saturday in the Petrofac Cup and we will need to be at that same level to pick anything up in this game.”
Midfielder Mark Millar is missing from the Blue Toon due to a knee injury, with Graeme Sharp and Scott Ross both doubtful after being ill earlier this week.
McInally will check with new parent Steven Noble before including the full-back, with Dean Cowie available as surgery on his knee problem has been postponed.
Andy Rodgers is also available as the suspension for his dismissal against the Lions is to be served in next season’s Petrofac Training Cup.
