Former Scotland internationalist Brian Kerr is keen to return to his old club Arbroath and become their new manager. The 33-year-old ended his career with a two-year spell at the Red Lichties. A knee injury sustained in March 2013 stopped the ex-Dundee man from playing and he now fancies taking on the vacant manager’s position at Gayfield. Allan Moore’s assistant Todd Lumsden is in temporary charge as chairman John Christison searches for a new boss. And Kerr’s name is believed to be of interest to the League Two club. Kerr said: “I enjoyed playing at Arbroath and I know the club well so I would be keen to talk to them about the manager’s position.”
