Raith Rovers’ director of football Maurice Malpas is leaving Starks Park, the club announced on Friday.
The 52-year-old former Dundee United player joined Raith Rovers in December.
The club is expected to announce Brechin City manager Ray McKinnon as their replacement for former boss Grant Murray, who was sacking in April afer a series of defeats.
A statement issued by Raith on Friday said: “Director of Football, Maurice Malpas, is stepping down from his position.
“The board of directors would like to place on record its sincere thanks to Maurice for the advice and support he has given the board, Grant Murray and Laurie Ellis over the last six months.
“Everyone at the club wishes Maurice all the very best for the future.”
