Raith Rovers have announced their retained and released list from last season’s squad.

Ryan Conroy had already left for Queen of the South, Liam Fox had joined Hearts in a coaching role with Martin Scott also departing Stark’s Park and it has now been confirmed that other first-team regulars Calum Elliot, Dougie Hill, Kevin Moon and Christian Nade along with teenager Liam McCroary have headed for the exit.

Former manager Grant Murray is another who has been released as a player as new boss Ray McKinnon looks to reshape his squad for next season.

He has already signed former Dundee United midfielder Darren Petrie and has been linked with a move for Alloa’s Ryan McCord.

McKinnon has also retained Grant Anderson, Craig Barr, David Bates, Ross Callachan, Kieran Campbell, Jonny Court, Kevin Cuthbert, Laurie Ellis, Elliot Ford, Scott Law, Ross Matthews, David McGurn, Rory McKeown, Callum Robertson, Mark Stewart, Jason Thomson and Lewis Vaughan.

Discussions are currently ongoing with Ross Laidlaw and Paul Watson.
