Forfar boss Dick Campbell delighted as Darren Dods agrees new deal

Forfar boss Dick Campbell has made another signing for next season after persuading veteran defender Darren Dods to put pen to paper on a one-year deal.
The former Hibs, Inverness, St Johnstone, Dundee United and Falkirk centre-half was an integral member of the Loons squad that came so close to winning promotion last season.
Dods, who turns 40 tomorrow, made 41 appearances and scored three goals for Campbell’s side in the League One campaign just ended.
The manager had made him an offer to stay but Dods had asked for time to weigh up his options.
However, he has now decided to remain at Station Park for at least another season, something that delighted Campbell.
The manager said: “We are all really pleased that Darren has decided to stay. He is an important player for us with loads of experience.
“Darren has proved he is also a winner and it is great to have him back.”
Campbell has been working hard since the end of the season re-signing the vast majority of his squad as well as adding Tom O’Brien from Cowdenbeath and Bryan Hodge from Stenhousemuir.
