Cowdenbeath manager Colin Nish made his second signing when he snapped up 20-year-old midfielder Jack Beaumont from Livingston.
He follows 22-year-old striker Greig Spence who joined the Fifers from Alloa.
The recently-appointed Blue Brazil boss had further success when he secured three more of last season’s squad on new contracts full-back or midfielder Kyle Miller and midfield men Chris Kane and Pat Scullion.
Nish, who took over from Jimmy Nicholl at the start of this month, now has 14 first team players in place.
Further signings are planned in the next few weeks as he attempts to get Cowden back to the Championship.
