Angus will take on Edinburgh in the Scottish League Cup after the draw was made for the first round.
Hearts, the only Premiership side in the mix at that stage, will welcome Arbroath to Tynecastle.
A capital v county battle will also take place at Easter Road, with Hibs drawn at home to Montrose.
Both ties are scheduled to take place on August 1 but one fixture could be moved on police advice.
Elsewhere, Dunfermline will play host to Cowdenbeath in a Fife derby at East End Park, while Raith Rovers are at home to Albion Rovers.
East Fife and Dumbarton will battle it out at New Bayview, Brechin face the long trip to Ayr and Forfar will be at Hampden to play Queen’s Park.
