Forfar boss looking for loan deals to bolster squad

Forfar boss Dick Campbell is looking to make better use of the loan market this season in a bid to turn his Station Park side from promotion battlers to champions.

The Loons lost out to Alloa in the play-off Final back in May and Campbell is looking to bring in players that will help his side do even better in this campaign.

Campbell explained: “When I reviewed our campaign I realised that I did not make as much use of the loan market as I could have and I will do better this season.”

“We have kept a good core of the squad that almost took us up, brought in good permanent signings and promoted good youth players but I want some loan boys to add to that.”

“I am hoping to get some business done quickly and certainly before August is out.”
