Cowdenbeath manager Colin Nish guided the Blue Brazil to their first win during his time in charge last weekend, and he is keen to add a second quickly.
The Central Park side head for Stenhousemuir having seen off Albion Rovers 1-0 in their last outing.
Nish said: “It was not the greatest game in the world and we had to sacrifice a bit of style for some substance but we got the win. It was important to get the three points as it has given everyone at the club a lift and we are looking to build on that at Ochilview.
“The players had worked hard at training over the previous month however the past week has been more enjoyable.
“In our opening run of games we had to concentrate a lot on the defensive side of the game as we were facing full-time sides in Raith Rovers and Dunfermline and a Stranraer team who made the play-offs last season.
“It was a hard run and a few things went against us however for the game against Albion last week we looked to be more attacked minded and it worked.”
Nish added: “Stenhousemuir are always a good side at home and they will be tough opponents, as any team that can beat Raith Rovers as they did in the Petrofac Cup must be decent.”
New signing from Hamilton, centre back Aldin El-Zubaidi, is included and Declan Hughes is available after a ban. Lewis Milne is a doubt, Jack Beaumont remains out with a foot injury and Craig Johnston is suspended.
