Graham Hay looks to leave Arbroath after just two months

Arbroath defender Graham Hay looks set to end his stay at Gayfield after just two months.

The former Brechin City defender returned to the Scottish League during the summer after a stint at Highland League Formartine and played in their first four games of the season before picking up a knock.

Hay, 28, told manager Todd Lumsden earlier this week that he was looking to leave.

Lumsden said: “Graham came in and spoke with me and during that conversation he indicated that he was looking to move on.

“We asked him to take time to think things through before he makes such a big decision.

“If however he still feels the same way we will get the paperwork completed and he will be released before we play Clyde this weekend.”
