A young Celtic side were beaten on penalties by Galatasaray as the Turkish champions claimed the Turkish Airlines Antalya Cup.
The Bhoys held the hosts to a goalless draw before the game went to penalties.
However, they were edged out 5-4 by a team which has reached the knockout stages of the Champions League.
Meanwhile, Celtic hope to hear from Norwegian side Stromsgodset over the possible transfer of midfielder Stefan Johansen.
No formal offer has been made as Celtic try to assess what it would take to entice the club to sell.
The Scandinavian side’s director of football, Jostein Flo, did not wish to discuss the matter when contacted on Saturday.
Celtic boss Neil Lennon confirmed his interest in the 23-year-old on Thursday, while Johansen’s agent, Tore Pedersen, told BBC Scotland other clubs were also watching.
Johansen is in Abu Dhabi with the Norwegian national team. The Tippeligaen is in its close season.
