Forfar allow Deasley to extend successful spell at Montrose
ByNeil Robertson
Courier Sport understands that Forfar are going to allow Bryan Deasley to extend his loan spell with Montrose.
The 25-year-old striker has been a big success for Stuart Garden’s League Two side, netting eight times since moving to Links Park at the end of August.
The Gable Endies boss has been keen to tie up Deasley until the end of the season, and it now looks likely his wish will be granted.
That’s despite Forfar still awaiting news on whether their own on-loan Dundee United player, Dale Hilson, will be remaining at Station Park beyond next month.
The Loons are hoping the 20-year-old front man, who is on his fourth loan spell at Station Park and has scored five times for Dick Campbell’s side so far this season, will accept the opportunity of continuing to play regular football with the Angus club.
