Is this the worst strip ever designed? Scotland hope to stand out in new away kit
ByThe Courier Reporter
Scotland have launched the new away kit that will be worn during the forthcoming Euro 2016 qualifiers.
The kit, designed by Adidias, is based on the colours of the early patron of Scottish football Lord Rosebery and harks back to the strip worn by the national team during their matches in the 1880s.
Scotland midfielder Scott Brown said, “It will certainly make us stand out from the crowd, and that’s exactly what we will need to do to qualify for Euro 2016.
“There is a lot of optimism ahead of this campaign and the new away kit will help us make a bright start to the qualifying campaign.”
However, the strip seems to have found few fans.
Some fans have described it as looking like a boiled sweet, while others say it is the worst they have ever seen.
