Forfar boss Dick Campbell has demanded his players cut out the individual errors that have cost them dear in their last two matches.
The Angus side have suffered consecutive 2-1 defeats at Cowdenbeath and then against Stranraer at home last Saturday.
The Loons still sit in third place in the League One table, four points behind leaders Ayr.
Campbell is determined that gap will not increase and he is looking for his side to return to the sort of defensive stinginess they displayed at the start of the campaign starting this afternoon up in Peterhead.
He said: “We started the season really well but we have obviously not performed in the last two games.
“Individual errors cost us dear in last season’s play-offs but they are something you cannot legislate for.
“I made changes last week but we still didn’t defend properly against Stranraer and gave away a penalty so mistakes are hurting us once again.
“The reason we were doing so well at the start of the campaign was that teams had to work really hard to beat Forfar.
“So we have to tighten up defensively and we have been concentrating on that in training all week.
“It is never easy up in Peterhead but Gavin Swankie is working his way back while Mark Baxter will be available again which is a boost.
“Rab Douglas should also return next week but I will be without the injured Chris Templeman, Danny Denholm and Derek Young.”
