Cowdenbeath manager Colin Nish has asked his players to ensure that they finish 2015 strongly at their Central Park home by taking points from Albion Rovers today and then against Ayr United on Tuesday.
Nish said: “We have only lost at our place once this season and that was on the opening day of the league season. Even then it was to a soft last minute penalty. We want to keep that run going but know that we face a hard game against Albion Rovers and then Ayr.
“If we can still say after these two home games that we have a strong home record then I will be delighted.”
The Blue Brazil go into the game on the back of a 3-0 win over Airdrie.
Nish sais: “It was a good win and one where scoring the first goal was vital.
“We now face Albion Rovers who have done really well this season and they are a side who dig deep to get good results. The last time we played them we left their place having lost 2-1 and we left wondering how it happened.”
He added: “We had to change things about to win last weekend because of the weather and we will have to mix things about this weekend to get the better of their defence.”
Cowdenbeath will be without the injured Lewis Milne, Jack Beaumont and Kyle Miller.
