Cowdenbeath boss could face dugout ban for Rangers clash

Cowdenbeath player-manager Colin Nish could be facing a dugout ban for Sunday’s Scottish Cup clash at Rangers.
The former Kilmarnock and Hibs striker was sent to the stands during Saturday’s Fife derby defeat at Dunfermline, and then criticised referee Barry Cook’s handling of the Blue Brazil’s 2-1 loss.
After the match, Nish said: “We had two stonewall penalties and he doesn’t give it because there’s a big crowd in favour of Dunfermline.
“It’s a big game for us and Dunfermline but ultimately the referee decided the game.”
Scottish FA compliance officer Tony McGlennan will examine Cook’s match report before deciding whether to take action over the official’s decision to send Nish to the stand.
But in a separate matter, McGlennan could also look into Nish’s post-match remarks after he appeared to question the competency of the referee.
