Cowdenbeath boss wants confirmation corner has been turned
ByThe Courier Reporter
Cowdenbeath manager Colin Nish believes picking up the three points at Peterhead today will confirm that the Fife club have turned their season around.
Nish explained: “We showed at Stranraer three weeks ago that we can win away from home and it would be great if we could show that again by winning at Peterhead. It would be good to get confirmation that we have learned how to get results away from Central Park.
“I am pretty up to date with Peterhead as I watched them play really well at Dunfermline a fortnight ago when they got a goalless draw.”
Cowdenbeath’s trip to Coatbridge to play Albion Rovers was called off for a third time on Tuesday night however the players were far from idle.
Nish sais: “Thankfully we had something ready just in case the game was off again so we were able to keep ticking over in training.”
Due to the Coatbridge postponements, Fraser Kerr’s suspension has still not been served, with the Fifers also missing the injured John Armstrong, Jack Beaumont and Lewis Milne.
