Arbroath entertain Stirling Albion with the Red Lichties looking for the win that would see them enter the top half of the table for the first time this season.
A run of five victories in six games has started talk of a promotion push from Todd Lumsden’s side, however the Gayfield boss is keeping everyone’s feet on the ground.
He said: “If we win we go five points clear of Stirling and jump above Clyde which would be a good position.
“However whilst we are pushing for the top four this week this league is so competitive that we could be looking to avoid the play-offs at the bottom next week.
“It is a really over used clich but we will look at things one game at a time as winning one game or losing one game can change your perspective.”
The last time the sides met it was a painful afternoon for Arbroath, with a one goal half-time lead turned into a 3-1 defeat against 10 men.
Lumsden recalled: “We were excellent in the first half of that game but poor in the second. However from that game our results have got steadily better and our performance levels have been really good.
“Who knows that could have been the turning point in our season. It was a disappointment and they deserved their victory but we will focus on the positive of winning against them earlier in the season.”
New loan signing from Aberdeen Jamie Henry is added and Shaun Rutherford should return after an ankle injury. Craig Johnstone and David Gold are out injured.
