Dunfermline manager Allan Johnston has set his sights on at least two new signings, despite his side’s near perfect start to the season.
The Pars have netted 15 goals in just three games, progressing comfortably in both the League and Petrofac Training Cups, and kicking off their league campaign with a 6-1 thrashing of Brechin City on Saturday.
Johnston has recruited seven new faces since being appointed Fifers boss in May, with the likes of Joe Cardle, Michael Paton, Sean Murdoch and Ben Richards-Everton all boasting top-flight experience.
However, with a first-team squad numbering just 17, Johnston is eager to boost his options and strength in depth.
He said: “When you look at the size of the squad, if we get a couple of injuries we could be struggling a wee bit.
“So, we probably need another two players at least.”
