Brechin boss looking for old teammate to turn the clock back

Brechin City boss Darren Dods has challenged new signing David Weatherston to reproduce the form he showed when they both played at Falkirk.
Dods, who cast an eye over former Hibs, Celtic and Scotland striker Derek Riordan in a 3-2 closed doors defeat the Bairns on Tuesday night, has signed Weatherston after he had impressed in pre-season.
Dods wants the former frontman to recapture the form that he showed during his two years as a Falkirk player as he explained: “David played really well during our time together. I am surprised that his career has not moved forward since then however injuries played a part in him not getting established at Alloa last season.”
“He has come here and done well in pre-season and I have seen glimpses of the player I knew. Hopefully he can build on that and remind everyone what a good player he is.”
