After a fortnight’s break, the Angus club return with a home clash against leaders Ayr United. And after that there is a trip to second top Dunfermline, and the small matter of a local derby against Brechin City. The veteran boss believes this is the perfect time for his side to put down a marker. “I know that it’s still early in the season,” Campbell said. “But to have games like that coming up is a great opportunity for us. “I’m really looking forward to it. “We’re in the play-off positions and there’s all to play for, starting with the leaders Ayr United.” The break appears to have served Forfar well, with influential forward Gavin Swankie expected to be fit today after several weeks on the sidelines. “Gavin’s a very important player for us,” Campbell admitted. “So it’s a great boost that he’s trained all week. “Tam O’Brien could be back as well.”
