Forfar Athletic chairman Alastair Donald has given manager Dick Campbell a vote of confidence.
The Loons are on a run of eight games without a win but, despite admitting that he’s suffering from sleepless nights, Donald is sure that Campbell will turn things around.
Donald said: “I am not sleeping over the results we are getting but that is through disappointment more than anything else. Injuries and suspensions have hurt the squad really badly.
“However, I am staying calm and I would ask everyone connected with the club to do the same.
“Our priority at the start of the season was to get the points on board to keep us safe.
“If we had done that then we would have looked to get involved in the promotion race so nothing has changed in that sense.
“All it has done is show how remarkably well we did to achieve what we did last season when we nearly won the league on a very restrictive budget.”
Donald added: “Things will turn for us under Dick, I am sure of that. He has already done more at this club over the past few years than we ever thought possible.
“There are lot of clubs with bigger budgets in this league but we look to compete with them and bring Championship football to Forfar in the future.
“It is important to keep calm as this bad run has been caused by injuries and suspensions. When we have everyone available things will turn for us.”
