Partick Thistle v Cowdenbeath: Colin Cameron looking to bounce back again
ByThe Courier Reporter
Cowdenbeath will need to bounce back from a disappointing start to the championship if they are to have any chance of defeating Partick Thistle.
Player-manager Colin Cameron is backing them to do so.
He said: “We have yet to pick up a point in the league but we are not that far away from doing so, so there is no panic.
“The game at Firhill gives us a break from the league and it is also a game where nothing is expected from us as Thistle are big favourites.
“We started the season with a Ramsdens Cup defeat from Dunfermline and bounced back with a 5-0 win at Berwick in this competition. Hopefully we can use the League Cup to bounce back again.”
Goalkeeper Grant Adam has served his suspension so Cameron will have to decide between him and Thomas Flynn, who played in the 3-1 defeat to Alloa on Saturday. Defender David Cowan should start after recovering from a knee injury.
