Raith Rovers complete deal for Hibs right-back Fraser Mullen

Raith Rovers have completed a deal for former Hibs right-back Fraser Mullen following his release from the Edinburgh club.
The 20-year-old has made the switch to Stark’s Park and will go straight into the Rovers squad for their trip to Morton on Saturday.
Mullen had been a loan target for Raith boss Grant Murray but, under SPFL rules which say clubs can only loan one player from another club at a time, a temporary transfer was out of the question due to Hibs left back Callum Booth’s current loan at Raith.
However, a deal was struck to free the player from his contract and Mullen who has represented Scotland at Under 17 level has signed a deal at the Kirkcaldy club covering the remainder of the season.
Mullen, who is a product of the youth academy at Hearts, signed for the Tynecastle team’s derby rivals in June 2013 but has struggled to nail down a starting place at Hibs.
Meanwhile, Morton have confirmed that former Scotland striker Garry O’Connor will be available to play against Raith at Cappielow after the necessary clearance came through.
