Garry Kenneth signs for Brechin City for rest of season

Brechin City have signed former Dundee United and Scotland defender Garry Kenneth.
The twice-capped centre-half, who picked up a Scottish Cup winner’s medal for the Tannadice club in 2010, has signed on at Glebe Park until the end of the season.
Kenneth’s last club was Bristol Rovers but he had recently been given training facilities by the Tangerines.
Meanwhile, City manager Ray McKinnon reckons it will be next month until goal-grabbing midfielder Alan Trouten will be available to help his side’s promotion push.
The 28-year-old, who has scored 10 times this season, has been out of action since January 2 and McKinnon has admitted that progress is slower than he had hoped.
McKinnon said: “Alan has a problem with a muscle just below the knee and we thought he would have been back by now.
“However, it looks like it will be another three to four weeks before he is available.
“He is a real goal threat when he plays and we obviously like that in our armoury as soon as possible.”
