Arbroath’s on-loan Dundee midfielder Dylan Carreiro could miss out on the run-in to the season after suffering from a stomach problem.
It was feared that the Canadian would have to get his appendix removed, however that has been ruled out.
Assistant manager Todd Lumsden said: “Dylan has been missing for the past fortnight and at first we had ruled him out for the rest of the season as it looked like he was going to have surgery on his appendix.
“That has not happened however there was still a problem that has seen him sidelined. It would be good to get him back as he can help get us into the play-offs.”
