Montrose can move up the League Two table with success at Stirling Albion tonight.
A win would take Paul Hegarty’s men two places higher, with this evening’s opponents one of the sides they would leapfrog.
And the manager is determined that his players start where they left off against East Fife on Saturday.
The Gable Endies came from two goals down to grab a point, and Hegarty said: “We made it hard for ourselves but the last 20 minutes was a terrific effort from the players.
“It felt like a win and means that we can go into this game feeling positive.
“We have had two wins and two draws so we are on a decent run and it would be great to add to that with a result that takes us closer to the promotion play-off chases.
“Stirling are a good side however if we play like we did at the end of Saturday’s game then we have a real chance.”
Paul Watson and Ross McCord are out for Montrose.
Stirling’s assistant manager Martyn Corrigan said: “We have a squad that is capable of being in the promotion mix. We can put together a run of wins that can be decisive and hopefully that will start against Montrose.
“Montrose are on a good run themselves however we know that a win put us fifth with games in hand.”
